Boss SD-1 Mod Kits

-Gain Monster: Our gain monster mod changes the clipping characteristics of the circuit along with making a few very musical changes to the way the tone of the pedal is structured, this is a sweet mod to complete if you want a little "more" or slightly different from your stock SD-1.

-TSK: The TSK mod gives a more organic feel to the overdrive of the SD-1 along with making a couple tweaks to the tone circuit to match the more organic feel.

-Full-Drive: This mod essentially makes the required tweaks to the SD-1 circuit to make it act and sound much more like the iconic full-drive circuit. If you like the clipping and tone of the iconic blue pedal but have an extra SD-1 laying around, this is a super killer mod to complete.

All of our kits include any diodes, capacitors, resistors, transistors, op-amps, etc.. that you need to complete the selected mod, along with any and all instructions to set you up with the highest success rate possible!

BOSS MODS: This is super important, please open up your pedal to ensure that your pedal is “moddable”. Boss recently changed their production techniques to use surface mount parts which can not be modded using our kits. If you look at the circuit board and see that the parts are soldered on, you’re in business! If you’re going to buy a pedal from reverb, eBay, etc.. for the sole intention of being modified, make sure to ask the seller for pictures of the circuit board for purchase. Some listings also now include “moddable” or “mod ready” in the titles.
