Boss GE-7 Mod Kits

-Original: Our original GE-7 mod solves two problems that guitar players have with the GE-7, its noise floor and the frequency bands. With a handful of tweaks, you can lower the noise, adjust the Q's and alter a few frequencies to make the GE-7 much more usable.

-New: Our new GE-7 mod is a little more simple to complete but includes a new op-amp to further the mission of making the GE-7 as usable as possible. Fewer big tweaks takes out some of the changes in the Q adjustments. You can't go wrong with either mod!

All of our kits include any diodes, capacitors, resistors, transistors, op-amps, etc.. that you need to complete the selected mod, along with any and all instructions to set you up with the highest success rate possible!

BOSS MODS: This is super important, please open up your pedal to ensure that your pedal is “moddable”. Boss recently changed their production techniques to use surface mount parts which can not be modded using our kits. If you look at the circuit board and see that the parts are soldered on, you’re in business! If you’re going to buy a pedal from reverb, eBay, etc.. for the sole intention of being modified, make sure to ask the seller for pictures of the circuit board for purchase. Some listings also now include “moddable” or “mod ready” in the titles.
