-Wall of stacks: If the name didn't give it away, this mod takes your standard DS-1 and gives it a much more full, clear, low-mid response and organic feel. If you feel that your DS-1 sounds too much like a "pedal" and you wish that it felt like you were in an 80's music video when you turned it on, this mod is for you.
-"K": This is our take on the very popular "K" mod, which is originally done by one of the most well-known pedal-modders in the game. We made a few tweaks to give it our own flavor but if you want to complete this legendary mod yourself, now is your chance.
-Fire: Gives the DS-1 a little more body, takes off some of the high-end shrill and changes the clipping characteristics to feel more organic, a nice "fixer" mod!
-Tube: A slightly different take on the "wall of stacks" mod. The tube mod gives the DS-1 a tube emulation type of feel, very organic. If the sound of plugging into a tube amp without all of the extra tonal changes for low-mids is what you're after, this mod is for you!
All of our kits include any diodes, capacitors, resistors, transistors, op-amps, etc.. that you need to complete the selected mod, along with any and all instructions to set you up with the highest success rate possible!
BOSS MODS: This is super important, please open up your pedal to ensure that your pedal is “moddable”. Boss recently changed their production techniques to use surface mount parts which can not be modded using our kits. If you look at the circuit board and see that the parts are soldered on, you’re in business! If you’re going to buy a pedal from reverb, eBay, etc.. for the sole intention of being modified, make sure to ask the seller for pictures of the circuit board for purchase. Some listings also now include “moddable” or “mod ready” in the titles.
Please note: purchasing a kit from us does not come with any sort of warranty or additional support beyond the included instructions, we also don’t assume any liability for the condition of the pedal pre/post mod, the modding process or any proper or improper use of the tools required to complete one of our mods
**NO PEDAL INCLUDED. Just the mod kit which includes all required parts and instructions to complete any given mod.**
